The Osoyoos Painters and
Potters Club has been an active part of this community
since 1950. They originally met in what was called The
Attic, located in the upstairs portion of the old curling
rink, which is currently the Museum. This group started
out with approximately ten members; today The Osoyoos
Painters and Potters Club can now claim a membership of
over 70 people.
Today the group meets in
the Osoyoos Art Gallery, which is the former RCMP building
on the corner of 89th and Main (Hwy #97), the potters in
the back of the building and the painters upstairs over
the Art Gallery. Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00 AM to
4:00 PM you will usually find a group of artists
pooling their talents and creativity to turn out some
amazing works of art.
If you are interested in learning to paint or pot, or just
would like to work with a group, come out and join us or
visit and find out first hand what we do.
