An Evening of Dinner and Burlesque
The Board Members of the
Osoyoos and District
Arts Council invite you to join them for a fun evening
of Dinner and Burlesque at the Watermark Beach Resort on
Saturday, April 17, 2010, 6:00 pm. Tickets are $60 per
person. Dress is “comfortable.”
This will be a fundraiser for the Arts in Osoyoos. There will be a Silent Auction
featuring many tradesmen’s services as well as donated goods
and gift certificates.
Paintings and pottery donated by local artists will be
featured in a Live Auction facilitated by “The Purrrfessor,”
Doug Thoms, your host for the evening and a member of Kitty
Nights Burlesque from
Vancouver.
Kitty Nights has a very distinct quality of clever innocence
mixed with good, clean naughtiness. Burgundy Brixx, the
producer, treats her audiences to New York style Burlesque,
featuring a troupe of four performers, each of whom perform
twice during the evening.

Be prepared for a Carnival-like atmosphere where EVERYONE is
having a good time and expect a lineup of performers of all
shapes, sizes and colours!
A Buffet Dinner will insure that all sizes of appetites are
satisfied. The menu will include a Chef Carved Roast Strip
loin of Alberta Beef, Roasted Shallot Jus, steamed wild
salmon fillet, hot vegetables, salads, and a Grilled
Vegetable Lasagna.
There will be fresh baked rolls and breads, coffee
and tea and outstanding desserts. Drinks are priced at $5
each.
Diners with special diets will be served a plated dinner,
given appropriate notice.
